Remna
AI Dream Card Social APP
"Catch a dream before it fades."
An AI-powered dream journaling and social app that turns fragmented dreams into shareable memories and low-pressure connections.
The Challenge
Dreams disappear faster than people can record them.
Immediately after waking, people may remember vivid scenes, characters, or emotions. Within minutes, those memories often dissolve into disconnected fragments.
Traditional journaling requires too much effort during this short window. Social platforms make sharing possible, but dreams can reveal private relationships, fears, and emotions—making users hesitant to post them publicly.
The result is a contradiction:

Popular dream-relative forums (reddit r/Dreams, LittleRedBook)
People want to preserve and share their dreams,
but recording feels difficult and sharing feels vulnerable.
The Research
The desire already existed. The experience did not.
Research with young users revealed that the problem was not a lack of interest:
73.91% had wanted to preserve a dream.
69.57% found manual recording too tedious.
73.91% worried that dreams could expose private emotions or thoughts.
65.22% occasionally shared memorable dreams with others.
56.52% preferred sharing only with friends or a small trusted group.
56.52% preferred observing content before actively interacting.
Users do not need another place to write dreams. They need a way to capture them before they disappear—and decide safely what happens next.
The Opportunity
Existing products solve only fragments of the experience:
AI dream tools generate interpretations or images but rarely create lasting personal value.
Journaling apps preserve dreams but make recording feel like work.Social.
Platforms provide audiences but lack dream-specific structure and privacy.
Anonymous social apps reduce identity pressure but create stronger moderation and safety risks.

Dream journey for Remna
Introducing Remna

Dream Card Generation
1
Structured Dream Card
Users can record a dream through voice, text, or disconnected fragments.
They do not need to remember the full story or organize it immediately. Remna prioritizes speed and works with whatever remains.
"Capture first. Make sense of it later."
2
Resonance Through Similar Dreams
Dreams often feel deeply personal, yet many contain shared emotions, settings, and recurring symbols.
Instead of immediately connecting users through chat, Remna first reveals why two dreams feel similar—such as a shared sense of anxiety, an old school setting, or the recurring image of a locked door.
“Was it only me?” -> “Someone else dream this too.”
3
Continuing a Dream Together
Some dreams end before their stories feel complete.
Remna allows users to continue another person’s dream by imagining a new scene, ending, or narrative branch. The original author controls whether continuation is allowed and how contributions appear.
This transforms dreams from static posts into collaborative prompts—giving users a reason to participate even when they have no dream of their own to record.
"A dream no longer ends when someone wakes up."

The Reflection
Remna is not designed to tell users what their dreams mean.
It helps them preserve what they remember, express what is difficult to explain, and discover that someone else may have felt something similar.
The final product is not a dream journal or an AI interpretation tool.
——It is a bridge between a private, fading memory and a shared moment of recognition.
